what’s the best hair removal product for girls?
i really, truly, and deeply despise shaving any part of my body. i want to find an easier way to remove body hair, or at least a razor that does not cause unsightly razor bumps or slice and dice of my skin. when i shave my legs, they usually dry out terribly. what’s your most recommended products for:
1. bikini hair removal
2. legs and underarm hair removal
3. facial hair removal
and is waxing at home easy? on a scale of 1-10, 1 being a slight pressure and 10 being child birth, can you rate its level of pain? thanks everyone. i just want to be ready for the spring/summer when i will be wearing shorts and bikini’s and such.
Waxing at home sucks, it just never goes right lol and it hurts way more than having it professionally done. Waxing is great and when you have someone do it for you it really doesn’t hurt that much. When I try and do it maybe it’s like a 8 in pain and I can’t even get through the bikini wax lol with them doing it it’s like a 3 and a 5 in bikini.
You can try an epilator, I haven’s used one in years and they do hurt it’s like a waxing machine it pulls the hair out from the root. Most people (myself included) find them very painful. Braun makes some nice one if you want to try it. One of my friends epilates her face she says it’s great.
I shave when I can’t afford to wax everything. I use a Mach 3 (men’s) razor, I just find it’s a better shave. And I use a sensitive skin shave gel (whichever is on sale usually no name brand).
I exfoliate using Body Shop Coconut Body Scrub before I shave, this makes a huge difference, if I do not do this my legs are not soft enough and I get bumps. I also apply Body Shop Coconut body lotion (it’s in a spray bottle) when I get out of the shower. if I have razor burn (which is rare as long as I use the scrub and lotion regularly) I apply Lush’s Dream Cream to the area, it gets rid of any redness and bumps, it’s a complete miracle cream but it’s really expensive so I only use it when I have razor burn and on my psoriasis (yes I also have psoriasis (lol).
